Required Cover Process

Provided below is an overview of the KAVA CRM Required Cover Process. Follow the steps below and
tick the corresponding checkboxes in CRM when you are finished with each step.

1. Send Request for Quotes to Insurers

Please request from the relevant insurers a quote for the required product.

When completed, ✅  the Request for Quotes Sent to Insurers checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

2.  Obtain Quotes from Insurers

3. Send Quotes to Prospect

Please wait for the insurers to submit their quotes for the required product.

Once received, please enter the quote details in to the Financials section. Income will be automatically calculated as the sum of the Broker Fee and Commission.

When completed, ✅  the Quotes Obtained from Insurers checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

 

Once all the insurers have submitted their quotes for the required product, please send the quotes to the prospect.

When completed, ✅  the Quotes Sent to Prospect checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

4.  Confirm Cover

Please await confirmation from the prospect that they wish to proceed with required cover. Please follow-up with the prospect if you have not heard back from them within a reasonable timeframe.

Also confirm cover with the insurer.

When completed, ✅  the Cover Confirmed checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

5.  Process Invoice

Now that cover has been confirmed, please process the invoice in the policy system and send the relevant documents to the prospect.

When completed, ✅  the Invoice Processed checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

6.  Send Closing

7.  Arrange Premium Funding

If required, please arrange for premium funding of the new policy.

When completed, ✅  the Premium Funded checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

Please send the closing details to the prospect.

When completed, ✅  the Closing Sent checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

8.  Send CoC to Prospect

Please send the Certificate of Currency to the prospect for their new policy.

When completed, ✅  the CoC Sent to Prospect checkbox or specify as 'N/A'.

9.  Confirm as Won or Lost

Please specify if you won (Closed Won) or lost (Closed Lost) the prospect's business for this cover. Once a choice is selected you will be prompted to enter a reason for the won/loss.

Once you have entered the reason, the Sales Process is completed. The Closed Won/Lost Date will be updated automatically.

 

If you wish to follow up with this prospect in the future regarding this product, please specify a date in the Contact in Future field to the right. This will automatically create a reminder Task for that date.
